Your profile committee is happy to announce that we’ll be gathering parishioner input very actively through the next several weeks. If you’d like to make your voice heard on our transition to a new rector, don’t wait! There are many ways to join in.

  • For three Sundays (May 14, 21, and 28), committee members will be in Simpson Hall at both the early and late coffee hours, hosting “listening tables” where anyone can walk up for a quick interview, as well as an “arts table” where you can play, create, and access your intuition about our next chapter. Stop by and say hi.
  • Anyone who wants to share your thoughts with a committee member one-on-one can schedule a private interview with us. Simply let someone at the “listening tables” know, or email elisabeth.mccumber@gmail.com to get started.
  • We will be launching an online survey in the coming weeks—stay tuned! (A paper survey will be made available as well.)
  • Last but not least, members of our committee will be reaching out directly to activity leaders and other groups within the church (such as vestry, staff, etc) to schedule group interviews on special topics. If you’re a member of such a group, you can expect to hear from us shortly.

As you can tell, the next several weeks will be very busy and fruitful. Later, in mid-June, we will stop collecting feedback and dive into the process of analysis and report-writing.

So, now is the time! Please don’t miss this opportunity to share your thoughts. Your perspective is very important to us and we’re eager to listen.
