Solidarity with Ukraine

We will do what we can to help, beginning with prayer.

Christians around the world are urged to fast and pray this Ash Wednesday and in Lent for Ukraine, Russia, and for peace. This week’s prayer vigil for peace is hosted by the national church is available for viewing online.

You can also help by making donations to the Ukraine funds of organizations such as the International Committee of the Red Cross, Unicef and Doctors Without Borders.

As many news organizations have noted, another way to help is in being thoughtful about what you share online. The Russian government uses disinformation as a weapon throughout the world. We all have a role to play in minimizing the harm created when misleading statements are shared.
