Local students needed places for their belongings, and Good Sam stepped up.

Thank you to the Outreach and Social Justice Committee and volunteers supporting the Corvallis School District for this opportunity.

In the past five years, there have been over 250 homeless children in schools in Corvallis and many other students navigating poverty. Sometimes, a backpack is the only possession these students have for personal items and school supplies when not at school.

We held a backpack drive in early August and collected seventy-four new youth and adult size backpacks.

Thank you to all who supported this effort by donating backpacks or by spreading the word. Your efforts show tangible love and support to students in a tough time.
