An event every week that begins at 1:30 pm on Friday, repeating indefinitely
Would you like a dedicated time and space to focus on your writing? Come to Scribes, an open writing time in the church library every Friday from 1:30-4pm. Drop-ins and newcomers are welcome.
For more than a decade, we’ve met in the church library to write in the company of others and to feel the presence of all those whose words are bound and placed on the shelves.
No commitment is required: just the desire for some mostly-quiet time to write. Note, this is not a critique group, even though writers are welcome to share what they’ve written.
Speaking of which, do you have poems to share? Ask us about the “The Poet’s Corner” across from the art wall in the Foyer, where poems are placed and can be read as wall-hung books.
