Place your gift (either cash or check) in the offertory plate during any worship service.

You can also use our card-reader in the narthex (the back of the church) for an electronic transaction! Someone will be there to assist you.

Set up an automatic transfer from your bank account, either as a one-time or recurring gift.

  • 100% of your gift goes to Good Sam
  • Contact your bank to get started
  • Tell them our name (Episcopal Church of the Good Samaritan) and address (333 NW 35th St, Corvallis OR 97330)
  • Choose how much and how often you wish to give
  • Your gift is sent to Good Sam automatically by your bank

You can decide how your gift is used

When you make a gift, your donation goes into our operating fund, supporting Good Sam’s work throughout the year. But if you wish, you can earmark your offering to any of the following accounts and reserve it just for that purpose. To do so, write the name of the fund on the memo line of your check, or in the online giving form.

You can support a worthy cause

Each month, Good Sam designates a particular social service organization for financial support through special collections (examples below). You can find this month’s recipient in the Sunday bulletin and on our News page. To participate, simply write “designated offering” in the memo line of your check.
