More About Godly Play
Based on Montessori, the Godly Play curriculum is imaginative and story-focused, introducing children to the history of the early church and the stories of the Bible while reinforcing the rhythm of the Christian year.
The lessons are hands-on, using visual aids like fabric, wooden figures, and models. It gives children time to ask questions, retell stories, and ponder open-ended ideas. We end each session with some time for the class to reflect on the story by drawing, coloring, writing, or playing with the lesson materials.
