Godly Play

Every Sunday during the school year, we offer a Sunday School program called Godly Play.

Godly Play is designed for children ages 2-7, but we welcome any child who would like to learn about Christian stories, symbols and worship in an atmosphere of community and discovery.

More About Godly Play

Based on Montessori, the Godly Play curriculum is imaginative and story-focused, introducing children to the history of the early church and the stories of the Bible while reinforcing the rhythm of the Christian year.

The lessons are hands-on, using visual aids like fabric, wooden figures, and models. It gives children time to ask questions, retell stories, and ponder open-ended ideas. We end each session with some time for the class to reflect on the story by drawing, coloring, writing, or playing with the lesson materials.
