This winter, Good Sam is participating in several gift drives for members of our community. Thanks for all your help!
Vina Moses Giving Tree
At Christmas, Vina Moses uses “Giving Trees” to gather gifts for children of families that may be struggling. From these, parents can select gifts their children will enjoy.
Bring your gift to the Giving Tree at Good Sam, November 20 to December 9.
- Pick one or more tags from the tree in our foyer
- Buy gift(s) as suggested for the child(ren) you choose
- Put the gift, UNWRAPPED, under the tree by the 9th
Gifts will be delivered to Vina Moses in time for parents to make selections for their children. These are much appreciated by those who need a helping hand, with whom we can share Christ’s love this Christmas.
Monetary contributions are also welcome, as Vina Moses prepares food baskets for the holiday. Checks should be made payable to “Vina Moses Center”and placed in the Outreach mailbox in the Church Office.
CARDV Christmas Gift Drive
The Episcopal Church Women of Good Samaritan Church are asking for your assistance in helping CARDV clients with donations for Christmas.
Bring your unwrapped donation to the church office or ECW luncheon by December 11.
- Art supplies
- New kitchen items (pots, pans, utensils, microwaves, silverware, dishes, kitchen towels)
- Pamper/beauty products or certificates
- New household items (lamps, alarm clocks, wall clocks, towels, blankets, pillows, sheets)
- Gift certificates to local businesses
